“And so anyway, that's what led me to write, you know, the first edition of the simulation hypothesis back in 2019. And it was the 20-year anniversary of The Matrix. So I released it on March 31st, 2019. Strategic. It was exactly on the day. And of course, now it's been six years and AI has progressed. I was just projecting back then what I thought would happen. And so last year, Penguin Random House asked me to write a new edition. And that's the edition that is out there now.”
