“Well, there's certain classes of antacids. There's what we call H2 blockers. There's proton pump inhibitors. And then there's the natural buffers that are just kind of neutralizing the acid environment in the stomach. Gavascone, I'm trying to think what class that falls under. I don't think it's widely used here in the U.S. Gaviscon is a commonly used antacid brand. And the active ingredients are aluminium hydroxide and magnesium carb carbonate. Oh, so Gavascone. So number one, it's got aluminum in it, which should absolutely be avoided.”
