Turtles All the Way Down👍 Recommends
…discussing media representations of OCD and how John Green portrayed it accurately
“That's my only example. You took my only example. And it's because John Green has OCD and has been open about it and was diagnosed and treated many, many years ago. So he was like the only person that I've seen... I watched turtles all the way down and I was so scared that he would somehow get it wrong. And I sobbed through that movie, especially there's this one scene where she's in the hospital and she's just like, I need to die. There's no hope. There's nothing that's going to save me. And I'm actually the monster. No matter what theme you have of OCD, that's how we all feel. And it's horrific. So I recommend people watching that.”
