Ryan Coogler

Ryan Coogler is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer from Oakland, California, best known for directing *Fruitvale Station*, *Creed*, *Black Panther*, and *Black Panther: Wakanda Forever*. He is widely recognized for blending blockbuster filmmaking with stories centered on Black identity, culture, and social issues. Coogler is also a co-founder of Proximity Media and continues to work as one of Hollywood’s most influential directors.
