Joshua Greene is an American experimental psychologist, neuroscientist, and philosopher known for his work on moral judgment, the trolley problem, and the interplay between emotion and reason in ethical decision-making. He is the Alfred and Rebecca Lin Professor of Civil Discourse and Professor of Psychology at Harvard University, where he is also a member of the Center for Brain Science and author of the book “Moral Tribes: Emotion, Reason, and the Gap Between Us and Them.”
